Graveside services for Mildred Roberts Carr, 76 of Thomasville will be held at 11 AM, Monday, April 10, 2017 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 8th Street. Ms. Carr passed away April 2, 2017 in Atlanta. Born May 20, 1940 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late John L. “Fritz” Roberts and Mildred Pidcock Roberts. She was a high school graduate of Howey Academy in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. At one time, Mildred was the greatest horsewoman in South Georgia. She was a spontaneous and magnetic dancer, and a lover of all animals. She had a unique sense of humor, a strong personality and a warm heart. She was one of a kind. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Brinson Glausier; grandchildren, Brandon Glausier and Logan Glausier; brother, Frank Pidcock Roberts and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also preceded in death by brothers, John Lake Roberts, Jr and Willie Ashburn “Tee” Roberts. A reception will be held following the service at The Plaza Restaurant.
