Mildred Laura Davis

Graveside services for Mildred Laura Kirby Davis will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Bobby Miller officiating. Born September 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Horace G. Kirby and Shelley Strange Kirby. Mildred was a loving wife and mother and an active member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Gene C. Davis; children Gene C. Davis Jr, (Anna) of Virginia, Patrick L. Davis (Marlene) of Tallahassee, and Jennifer Weaver (Gary) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren Nicholas Davis, Stephen Davis, Elena Davis, Leslie Weaver; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters Helen English (Ernest) of Savannah, GA and Alma Mason (John) of Destin, FL. She was preceded in death by seven siblings. A visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 from 4-6 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
