Funeral Services for Mildred Lanelle Redfern Phillips, 82, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ramon J. Hernandez, Jr. will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips died July 6, 2007 at Golden Living Center. Born June 25, 1925 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late W. Earl and Ola Pittman Redfern. On February 27, 1945 in Thomasville, she married Major Gerald Wayne Phillips who preceded her in death April 17, 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of Dawson St. United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Faye & Tom Evans of Melrose, Fla.; granddaughter and husband, Lisa and Tony Crosby of Lakeland, Ga.; granddaughter, Sherry Chapman of Melrose, Fla.; great-grandson, Nicholas Crosby of Lakeland, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Natalie Crosby of Lakeland, Ga.; brother, Lavern Redfern of Thomasville; nephew, Bill Redfern of Thomasville; niece and husband, Gayle and Greg wells and children, Julia, Tyler and Shane of Springboro, Ohio.
