Mildred Pyles Robertson

Services for Mildred Pyles Robertson, 86 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at New Growth Baptist Church. Pastor Mack Luke will officiate and interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo. Mrs. Robertson passed away October 28, 2019 at her residence. Born October 25, 1933 in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Coy & Georgina Pyles. She was married to the late Charles Perry Robertson. She was a member of New Growth Baptist Church and loved everyone, she never met a stranger. She lived a simple life and loved riding around in her car and her cats. She is survived by her grandchildren, Ed Smith and wife Amy, Lisa Gibson; great grandchildren, Shawn Smith and Barbara S. Bennett; great-great grandchildren, Tasha Chaney, Kristopher Bennett, and Nolan Bennett, all of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Sarah Touchette of Cairo; numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends Evelyn Evans, Bonnie Parker and Gloria Parker. She was preceded in death by daughter, Susan Gibson; granddaughter, Janet Smith; brothers, Coy Deloy Pyles, Wilburn Maurice Pyles and Richard Pyles. The family will receive friends 10-11 am, before the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation be made to help offset funeral costs.
