Services for Millie Frances Taylor Irish of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Morris Nichols and Larry Parker will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Ms. Irish died June 13, 2005 at her residence. Born March 21, 1939 in Cook Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Wiley Franklin and Arrie Elizabeth Bennett Taylor. She graduated from Thomasville High School in 1957 and was a former bookkeeper for the light department for the City of Thomasville, Tallahassee and Fitzgerald. Ms. Irish was a loving dedicated mother and a great friend to all who knew her. One of her many talents was cooking. She was known for her special ability to entertain and make all her guest feel at home with her warm loving ways. Holidays were very important to her, she would spend days preparing to make them special for everyone. Ms. Irish was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William Mark and Deidra Vonier of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Constance Elizabeth and Steven Selva of Boynton Beach, FL and daughter, Karen Frances Vonier of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kristin Vonier, Karey Lindsey, Ron Lindsey, Rance Vonier, Arrie Selva, Hugo Selva, Colby Vonier, three great grandchildren and sister, Valeda Griffin of Woodville, FL. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Lester Taylor, Charles Taylor, Vera Fender, Vinnie Eldridge, Vernon Taylor and Chester Taylor.
