Milous K. Nicholson

Graveside services for Milous K. Nicholson, Jr. of Thomasville were at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Texas Street. The Rev. Keith Hill officiated. Mr. Nicholson died October 28, 2004 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, GA. Born January 4, 1922 in Cleveland, TN, he was the son of the late Milous K. Nicholson, Sr. and Lottie David Nicholson. On January 4, 1961 in Tampa, FL he married Naomi Link Nicholson who preceded him in death. He later married Reida Jackson Nicholson who survives. Mr. Nicholson was a member of Northside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Other survivors include his children from his first marriage, daughters and sons-in-law, Susan N. and John Turner Holt of Thomasville and Sandra K. and Larry Allen Taylor, Sr. of Arcadia, FL, grandchildren, Larry A. Taylor, Jr., Joseph Grant Taylor and Kellie Turner Holt; great grandchildren, Thomas Allen Taylor, Bethany Tess Taylor and Kathleen Marie Taylor; brother, Milton Nicholson of Dalton, GA, sisters, Ethelyn N. Smith of Chattanooga, TN, Charlotte N. Decausemaker of Cortez, Colorado and Casey N. Patterson of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Nicholson and sisters, Francis Nicholson Fletcher and Fay Nicholson Allen.
