Private graveside services for Elizabeth Cain Carter, 72 of Thomasville will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bert Croft will officiate. Born March 5, 1948 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Cain and Martha Swords Cain. She was married for 57 years to Jimmy F. Carter, Sr, who survives. She loved her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Scarlett Croft and husband Larry of Thomasville; sons, Jimmy Carter, Jr and wife, Janice, and Raymond Lee Carter, Sr., all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kent & Shalon Croft, Waverley & Philip Thurman, Jamie Keene, Del Keene, Raymond Lee Carter, Jr, Ryan Carter, Robert Carter, Kera Carter; and sister Genell Brown (Billy) of Thomasville.
