Funeral services for Murphy Stanley Cook, Jr., son of Marty Clifton, 61, of Ft. Myers, Florida, will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Rev. Ricky Pollock will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cook passed away July 18, 2021 in Ft. Myers. Born March 5, 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late Murphy Stanley Cook, Sr and Marty Durham Clifton, who survives, of Thomasville. He was carpenter for the City of Ft. Pierce. He is survived by his mother; son, Murphy Stanley Cook, III of Callahan, Fl; daughter, Courtney Miller of Jacksonville, Fl; sister, Roxanne Rader (David) of Jacksonville, Fl; 13 nieces and nephews; 3 uncles and 2 aunts. He is preceded in death by his biological father; step-father, Douglas Clifton and maternal grandparents, Grover & Marie Durham. The family will receive friends 10-11am, before the service at the funeral home.
