Services for Murry Andrew “Andy” Maxwell, 77, of Boston, GA will be held on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Phillips and Rev. Steve Brooks will officiate. The interment will be at Boston City Cemetery. Mr. Maxwell passed away on December 19th, 2018 in Thomasville. He was born on May 31, 1941 in Cairo, GA. He was married to his wife, Mary Maxwell of 55 years. He retired from Thomas County Public Works as Public Works Director. He was also a licensed surveyor, and he had a reputable survey business, MMM Surveying, LLC. He was a member of SAMSOG, A Surveyor’s Society. He is survived by his wife, Mary Maxwell of Boston, GA; children, Richard Andrew Maxwell (Amanda) of Boston, GA, Ashley Maxwell Searcy of Boston, GA, Alison Maxwell Wilson (Jeff) of Ochlocknee, GA, Charles “Chuck” Edward Maxwell (Julia) of Thomasville, GA; grand-children, Mary Elizabeth Maxwell, Richard Andrew “Drew” Maxwell II, Rhett Andrew Searcy (Amber), Hunter Wilson, Ashlyn Wilson, Jaclyn Maxwell, great-grandchildren, Lyla Francis Searcy, Lettie Jane Searcy, Loralye Maria Brickey, sister Nancy A. Maxwell of Cairo, GA; special cousin, Alan Drake (Betty) of Tallahassee, FL, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Murry Maxwell and Emmye Maxwell.
