Graveside services for Myra Caroline Thompson Owens, 69, of Thomasville are 2:00 pm, Friday, April 30, 2010 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 5th st. The Rev. Dr. Milton Gardner will officiate. Mrs. Owens died April 28, 2010 at her residence. Born August 31, 1940 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Howard Thompson and Edith Copeland Thompson. She was a 1952 graduate of Thomasville High School, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Mark Lewis Owens of Tokyo, Japan and daughter, Myra Sue Owens.
