Graveside services for Myrtlce Elizabeth Anderson Blanton, 91, of Thomasville are 2 pm, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ronnie Wills will officiate. Mrs. Blanton passed away December 15, 2011 in Thomasville. Born March 11, 1920 in Anderson City, Ga, she was the daughter of the late Troy Anderson and Claudia Young Anderson. She was married to William Douglas Blanton who preceded her in death. Mrs. Blanton was a member at First United Methodist Church and was a Pink Lady at Archbold Hospital. Survivors include son Max Blanton and wife Melissa of Thomasville, daughter, Jane Ann Beecher and husband Ted of Jacksonville, Fl; grandchildren, Lance Butler, Scott Blanton, Brooke Blanton Lee, Shay Blanton Schie and 5 great grandchildren.
