Services for Myrtle May Floyd Osgatharp, 76 of Boston will be held 10:00AM, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Emory Heald will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Osgatharp passed away August 9, 2015 at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. Born April 2, 1939 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joe Floyd and Claudia Lane Floyd. On July 15, 1963 in Ringold, Georgia she married John Pete Osgatharp who survives. She was a member of Boston United Methodist Church and retired from TECH Corp. Other survivors include her children, John Bennett of Clinton, Indiana, Kathi Bennett and husband Rick Imig of Orange City, Florida, Sue Mascaro and husband Frank of Sanford, Florida, Steven Richard Osgatharp and wife Wanita of Boston, David Osgatharp and wife Pam of Thomasville and Jeff Osgatharp of Boston; step-children, Marilyn Barrett of Washington, Indiana, James Osgatharp and wife Sherryl of Otwell, Indiana, Barbara Hoffman and husband Robert of Orlando, Florida, Bill Osgatharp and wife Eva of Petersburg, Indiana and Mark Osgatharp and wife Rene of Thomasville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Mable Floyd Singleton and husband Robert of Macon. She was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Floyd, George Floyd and sister, Ann Floyd Brison. The family will receive friends 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the funeral home.
