Services for Myrtle Brinson Bozeman Skeen, 86, of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2015 at First Newark Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Brooks and Jimmy Clanton will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Ms. Skeen passed away July 2, 2015 at Archbold Hospital. Born February 6, 1929 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late James Brinson and Sarah Eugenia Lipham Brinson. She was married to Fred Skeen who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Newark Baptist Church, was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and worked for Faircloth Brothers Canada Dry, Golden Brothers and Southwest Ga Technical Collage. She is survived by daughter, Sharlene B. Randall and husband Darrie of Glennville, Georgia; grandson, D. Clayton Randall, Jr; great grandchildren, Autumn Branch, Walker Payton Randall, Caitlin Alana Randall and special friend Hershel Drinkwater. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Malvin Brinson, Nettie Lou Kent, Roscoe Brinson and Lydia Brinson and sister-in-law, Mary Brinson. The family will receive friends 3-5 pm, Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
