Nancy Millere

Memorial services for Nancy Saunders Ris Millere will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, August 27th, at Trinity Anglican Church. Father David Trautman will officiate; a private interment will follow. Mrs. Millere passed away August 18, 2017, at her home in Thomasville, Georgia. Born May 21, 1937, in Mineola, Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Bernard Ris and Pearl Krohn Ris. She attended Garland Junior College in Boston, Mass. On August 23, 1958, in Massillon, Ohio, she married Edmond Simpson Millere, Jr., who preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Mark K. Millere (Milissa), Edmond S. Millere, III (Marcia), Dale K. Millere, and daughter Debra Lea Millere Griner, all of Thomasville, Georgia. Nancy worked as a secretary for the Lindenwold School District. She was a secretary and life member of the Lindenwold Number 2 Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and an avid volunteer for the Lindenwold School District. She is also survived by her brother Richard Bernard Ris (Debbie) of Gaithersburg, Maryland. Other survivors are seven grandchildren, Stacie M Long (Jason), Martin K. Millere, James L. Griner, Rosalie A. Millere, Ella D. Millere, Daniel J. Millere and Lyndsey K. Millere, and great-granddaughter Jacie E. Long. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steven W. Griner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the rector's fund at Trinity Anglican Church, P. O. Box 112, Thomasville, GA 31799 or the pastor's fund at First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville, 225 E. Jackson St, Thomasville, GA 31792. The family will receive friends in the parish hall at Trinity Anglican Church immediately following the service. .
