Services for Nancy Roxanne Griffin, 95, of Ochlocknee are 11 am, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church. The Rev. Harold Pullen will officiate and interment will be in Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, G.W. Griffin, Charlie T. Griffin, Thomas Otto Griffin, Lamar Miller, David Mims and Layne Richardson. Ms. Griffin passed away October 15 at Golden Living Center. Born April 24, 1916 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late George W. Griffin and Mary Ida Palmer Griffin. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and an active member of a garden club and sewing club. Survivors include Daughter, Roxy Ann Keirsey of West Chester, PA; granddaughter, Kimberly Lynn Keirsey; nephews, G.W. Griffin, Charlie T. Griffin, Thomas Otto Griffin; nieces, Faye G. Miller and husband Lamar, Debbie G. Mims and husband David, Jean G. Carter and husband Taylor, Georganna G. Richardson and husband Layne and Gail Griffin. She was preceded in death by brothers, G. Woodrow Griffin and Thomas Otto Griffin. Memorial donations may be made to Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 511, Coolidge, Ga 31738.
