Naomi B Giles

A private graveside service for Naomi Bentley Giles, 87 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Marty Carnes will officiate. Mrs. Giles passed away April 14, 2020 at Camellia Gardens. Born July 18, 1932 in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ralph Bentley, Sr and Thelma Hall Bentley. On September 19, 1961 she married William E. Giles, Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a strong Christian who loved the Lord and had a servant’s heart. She was a loving wife, mother, nanie, sister, a good friend and loved people. She enjoyed working in her yard and cooking. She is survived by her children, Allison Giles Barrow and husband Winton of Pavo and Bill Giles and wife J.J. of Boston; grandchildren, Lauren & Ben Cauthen, Darby Glover, Taylor Barrow, Emma Giles and Elyse Giles; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Glover and Caroline Cauthen and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Buck Bentley and Lillian Wilkes. A video recording of the private service will be posted on www.youtube.com .
