Naomi Wade

Naomi Wade passed away on November 9, 2025. A private service will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery. She was born on May 5, 1934, in Grady County, Georgia to the late Grover Griner and Mary Davis Griner. She was married to Donald Wade for 70 years, who preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Gary Wade and wife Anne, of Gainesville, GA, David Wade and wife, Sylvia of Valdosta, GA, Timmy Wade, of Tallahassee, FL, Karen Wade Stevens and husband Marshall, of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Brooks Wade and wife Niki, Amanda Wade Read and husband Calvin, Kelli Wade Porter and husband Andrew, Gini Mizelle and husband Will, Shalyn Holley and husband Steve, Casie Tabor and husband Andy; 15 great- grandchildren and brother-in-law Gene Wade. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Richard Lavone Wade, siblings Myree Griner Logue, William Matthew Griner, Robert Joseph Griner, Walter Doyle Griner, and Jerry Griner Miller. The family would like to give a special thanks to Bethany/Affinity Hospice. Especially Kristin, Gabe, Rosalind, and Kimberly.
