Graveside services for Nell M. Herndon of Thomasville are at 1:00PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo, GA. Pastor Tony Walker will officiate. Mrs. Herndon died January 26, 2004 at her residence. Born February 29, 1924 in Rural, Ala., she was the daughter of the late James Matterson and Nancy Cebell Wilson McCrory. On July 4, 1955 in Charlton Co., GA. she married Clewis F. Herndon who preceded her in death. Mrs. Herndon was a member of New Hope Holiness Church and was a registered nurse at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl. Survivors include a daughter, Katrina Nell Herndon Shisler of Palm Harbor, Fl.; granddaughter, Kelsey Ann Frease of Palm Harbor, Fl. and caretaker, LaJuana Ansley of Thomasville.
