Nena Martyle Bryan

Funeral services for Nena Martyle Bryan will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the Pavo Baptist Church with the Rev. James Davis and Rev. Larry Harris officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Bryan, formally of Pavo, died July 11, 2005 at The Suits of Woodleaf in Thomasville. Born on December 23, 1914 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Williams and Nena Holloway Williams. She was a retired school teacher from the Thomasville City and Thomas County School systems. Mrs. Bryan attended Georgia Southern and graduated from Valdosta State College, and was a member of the Pavo Baptist Church. She was married to Thomas Marvin Bryan who preceded her in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Marvin Andrew and Karen Bryan of Pavo, grandchildren Marvin Andrew Bryan Jr., Krista Bryan Dance, Cassie Bryan Clark; great grandchildren Jake Bryan, Hannah Bryan, Morgan Dance, Scott Burgess, Hunter Burgess, Dalton Burgess. She was preceded in death by a grandson Charles Thomas Bryan. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
