Funeral services for Nina Mae Palmer Bond, of Thomasville, will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Mike Scarborough and Everett Green will officiate, with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Chuck Bonner, Daniel Britt, Reese and Brent Taylor, and Jason and Maurice Parramore. Honorary pallbearers will be Eston and Everett Green and Neel Parramore. Mrs. Bond died in Thomasville on October 4 at Hospitality Care Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Charlie and Ennis Parks Palmer, she was born on September 22, 1909 in Thomas County. On September 12, 1926 in Ochlochnee, she was married to the late J. B. Bond. Mrs. Bond was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in law, Mildred Bond and Tommie Green of Warner Robins; a daughter, Laverne Parramore of Thomasville; grandchildren, Gail and Gary Scott of Moultrie, Everett and Lynn Green of Warner Robins, Charline and Bud Garrett of Cleveland, Ga., Neel and Krista Parramore of Coolidge, Elaine and Charlie Johnson of Kathleen, Mary Joyce and Steve Allen of Cleveland, Ga., DeAnn and Johnny King of Thomasville and Eston and Cheryl Green of Huntsville, AL. Twenty-four great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild also survive her. A son, Charles Leon Bond, preceded Mrs. Bond in death.
