Services for O. C. Rinehart of Thomasville are at 4:00PM on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Dawson Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ramon Hernandez will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Dawson Street United Methodist Men, Men?s Bible Sunday School Class and Golden K Kiwanis. Mr. Rinehart died Mar. 9, at Archbold Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Born April 24, 1924 in Saluda Co., S. C. he was the son of the late Willie and Jessie Rinehart. He was married to Nell Holden Rinehart who survives. Mr. Rinehart was a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees He was a retired letter carrier for the United State Postal Service. Mr. Rinehart was a member of Dawson Street United Methodist Church where he served in many capacities including Sunday School Teacher, Chair of Administrative Board, and various United Methodist Men offices. He was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club where he served as secretary for many years. Other survivors include daughters, Donna Wilson Ron, Myra Coursey Thomas, one granddaughter, Jessica Coursey and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Memorials may be made to Dawson Street United Methodist Church, 1132 N. Dawson St., Thomasville, GA 31792.
