Services for Odessa Peeples Redmond of Boston are 3:00PM on Friday, March 7, 2003 at Boston Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate and interment will be at Boston City Cemetery. Mrs. Redmond died March 4, 2003 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born April 25, 1921 in Brooks Co., Ga., she was the daughter of the late John Thomas & Hattie Gibbs Mitchell. She was married to the late Clayton Peeples, Sr. , and then to the late Dean Redmond. Mrs. Redmond was a homemaker and Past President of Boston 20th Century Club. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Cora Peeples of Lake Harding, Ala., daughter and son-in-law, Ellen & Brinson Terrell of Boston, GA., son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Sheri Peeples of Cartersville, GA., son-in-law, Terry Long of Boston, GA.; brother, C. M. Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fl., sisters, Sylvia Clements of Boston, GA., Maudell Tillman of Moultrie,GA.,and Linda Harmon of Pavo, GA.; grandchildren, Tracie Moore, Cindy Peeples, Lori Terrell Choate, Barbara Anne Terrell Garrett, Stacey Davenport, Claye Davis and Brandi Walls and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Peeples Long. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
