Services for Odie Edwina Weeks Smith, 79, of Ochlocknee, are at 3 p.m., Friday, May 15, at Ochlocknee Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment is in Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Phillip Palmer, Chad Palmer, Clay Cooper, Hunter Robinson, Joseph Hurst and Mark Brown. Mrs. Smith died May 14 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born Dec. 14, 1929, in Meigs, she was the daughter of the late Admiral Dewey and Odie Irene Alligood Weeks. She was married to John Randall Smith, who survives. Mrs. Smith was a Homemaker and a member of Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Survivors include children, Ron Smith and wife, Debra of Sylvester, Dianne Cooper and husband, Chris of Cairo, Randall Blake Smith of Ochlocknee and Lisa Brown and husband, Jim of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Phillip Palmer, Chad Palmer, Gina Collinsworth, Clay Cooper, Julia Smith, Chasity Hurst and Chelsea Brown; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Hattie Genita Mills of Ochlocknee.
