Services for Ola Kelly Ausley, 97, of Thomasville will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ausley was born on January 16, 1917 in Monticello, GA. Her parents were the late E. Clyde Kelly and the late Ola Little Kelly. After high school, she graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. in 1938 and was married November 20, 1942 in Monticello, GA. to Robert Chisholm (Bob) Ausley who preceded her in death on September 17, 2006. They lived in Atlanta where they both worked for the Coca Cola Company and moved to Thomasville in 1948 where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an honorary member of the Administrative Board; taught Sunday School for 21 years and also worked in the Vacation Bible School. She was a Program Chairman of the local First United Methodist Women as well as an officer of the Thomasville District. She was an active member of the Junior Service League, Membership Chairman of Thomasville Entertainment Foundation, Girl Scout Leader and Local Secretary of the Board. She was also a member of the Archbold Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as a Pink Lady. She is survived by a daughter and her spouse, Elizabeth and Frank Wade of Thomasville. Three nephews and their families; Dr. E Clyde Kelly, III of Macon, Georgia, Dr. J. Corbitt Kelly (Donna) of Monticello, Georgia, Mr. Donald Bruce Kelly (Louise) also of Monticello, Georgia, great nieces and nephews, faithful friends Henry C. Forbes, Sr., companion for 50 odds years and Sharon Bogan, Caregiver. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomasville First United Methodist Church, 425 N.
