Oleta Barrow Woods

Services for Oleta Barrow Duncan Woods, 83 of Pavo will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Boston Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate and interment will follow at Boston Cemetery. Mrs. Woods passed away December 19, 2016 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 18, 1933 in Brooks, County, she was the daughter of the late Leavie H. Barrow and Margaret Herndon Barrow. She graduated from Pavo High School in 1952 and was retired from Warners. Mrs. Woods married Fletcher Duncan in 1960, who preceded her in death in 1979. She then married Joe Woods who preceded her in death in 2007. She attended Antioch Baptist church where she was active in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher and she also attended Boston Baptist Church where she was very active in choir and WMU. She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Wilson and husband Tony of Thomasville and granddaughter, Jennifer LeAnne Wilson. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Regina Lynn Duncan and brothers, Keith Barrow and Wilton Barrow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Baptist Church, PO Box 56, Boston, Ga 31626. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-8pm, at the funeral home.
