Olga Lene White

June 20, 1937 — July 12, 2021

Olga Davis White, age 84, went to be with the Lord Monday July 12, 2021. She passed away peacefully at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Olga was born June 20, 1937, in Spence, Georgia, to William Burton Davis and Alpha (Cooper) Davis. Olga was a graduate of Cairo High School. Spunky and the shortest on the team, she held the trophy for the photograph honoring the Cairo basketball team championship. She married Eugene White of Thomasville Georgia on October 19, 1957. Together they settled in Thomasville, they had two children; James White and Beverly Theobald. Olga retired as an educator assistant with Thomas County Schools where she made lifelong relationships with many teachers and students. After retirement, Eugene and Olga enjoyed traveling together as well as spending time with family and friends. Olga enjoyed simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking, canning and caring for her many fur babies; Sport, Midnight, and Gizmo. She was an active long-time member of Eastside Baptist Church, Thomasville. Olga is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Eugene; a sister, Shelby (Davis) Hurst; a son James and his wife Casi, a daughter Beverly and her husband David Theobald, with 5 grandchildren; Becky, Hayley, Chris, Cole and Carson, 5 great grandchildren: Carley, Kayley, Tripp, Shawn and Bellamy as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family only Grave side services will be officiated by Rev Eron John White with assistance by Allen and Allen Funeral Home. Services to be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10 AM, Union Hill Cemetery, Spence, Georgia.

The family appreciates the tremendous out pouring of love and prayers from friends and family.
