Graveside services for Ollie Pittman King of Thomasville are at 3:00PM on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Boston Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Hall will officiate. Mrs. King died January 22, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born August 21, 1905 in Colquitt Co., Ga. she was the daughter of the late William B. and Georgia Tallauah Felder Pittman. On July 9, 1925 in Monticello, Fl. she married Clayborn King, Sr. who preceded her in death in August 1961. Mrs. King was a member of Dawson Street Methodist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy King Collier Davis of Thomasville; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret K. and Frank Norton of Boston; sons and daughters-in-law, C. W., Jr. and Ellen King, George and Betty King, son, R. Michael King all of Thomasville; daughter-in-law, Peggy King of Peddle, Miss.; grandchildren, Glen and Beth Collier, Clay Collier, Irene and Frank Clark, Louise and Robert Parrish, Lisa and Jack Redfern, Darlene and Jim Rayburn, Linda & Hank Stringer, Ron and Ralph Green, Edward, Jr. and Connie King, Karen and Mac Farris, Gordon and Lynn King, Carlyle and Kristen King, Julianne King, Gregory and Wendy King, Eric King, Kimberly and Chris Hayes, Lori Jill & Dale Mims, Tommy and Kim King; thirty four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
