Ollie Wynette Baker Suber

Services for Ollie Wynette Baker Suber, 74, of Coolidge will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Big Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Keown will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Suber passed away April 9, 2012 at Archbold Hospital. Born June 3, 1937 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late LG Baker and Jewel Barrow Baker. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Stacey S. Suber, Sr. Mrs. Suber held an Education Specialist Degree and was Head of Business Education Department at Thomas County Central High School for many years. She was retired from the Thomas County School System where she taught for 39 years. She also taught business education at Southwest Georgia Technical College for 5 years. She was a dedicated member of Coolidge Memorial Baptist Church where she taught the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class for many years and was involved in many clubs and organizations. Other survivors include son, Scerrell Suber, Jr of Coolidge, sister, Virginia Stiles of Sumter, SC; brothers-in-law, Jeff Suber and wife Delena of Coolidge, Zack Suber and wife Ledene of MS., Rick Suber of Collierville, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a stillborn sister; brother, Carnell Baker; brother & sister-in-law, Harold & Rosa Lee Baker; brother-in-law, Winston Suber and sister-in-law, Hope Baker.
