Oscar Ott Ansley

Funeral services for Oscar Ott Ansley of Thomasville will be held Monday at 2:00PM in the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Enon Cemetery. Mr. Ansley died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at his residence. Born May 1, 1925 he was a son of the late Ben and Battie McAlpin Ansley. He was preceded in death by a wife Frances Louise Moore Ansley in 1970 and a wife Edna Mae Dowling in 1980. He was a Heavy Machine Operator and served in the the United States Army. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Oscar Dick and LaJuana Ansley of Thomasville; a son, Billy Roy Pete Ansley of Coolidge; a daughter, Johnnie Carol Evans of Coolidge; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo Poochie and Ricky Eastham of Greenville FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Jerry Hall of Greenville Fl; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Henry Curtis Fuzzy Ansley. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00PM.
