Patricia Connell Griffin Baggett

Patricia Connell Griffin Baggett, 78, of Thomasville, passed away on April 26, 2026. She was born in Pelham, GA, to the late James Homer Connell and Blonnie Mae Wright Connell.

She was a faithful member of Forest Acres Full Gospel Church, where her love for Jesus was evident in all that she did. Her unwavering faith and spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Dewayne Baggett; children Donald Steve Joyner, Jr. of Thomasville and Mary Elizabeth Wright (James) of Thomasville; grandchildren Elizabeth Walsh of Pennsylvania and Lee Powers of Georgia; siblings James Homer Connell, Jr. and Carolyn Clemons both of Thomasville; nephews Jeremy Clemons and Joshua Clemons; niece Jessica Clemons; great-nephews Justin Clemons, Joshua Clemons Jr., Tyler Clemons, Jacob Clemons, and Henry Clemons and great-niece Makayla Clemons.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Merle Griffin.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 3 pm at Forest Acres Full Gospel Chapel in Moultrie with pastor Darrell Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Greenfield Cemetery in Moultrie. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5-7 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
