Memorial services for Patricia "Patsy" Brownlee Durrance, 74, of Thomasville, are being held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Parkway Church of God, Thomasville, Ga. The visitation will be at 10 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. Pastors Richard Dobson and Ken Sullivan will officiate with comments by Pastor Buddy Lanier, the deceased's brother. There is a second memorial service being held on Saturday, January 16th, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Chiefland, Fl. with the visitation at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Hardeetown Methodist Cemetery in Chiefland,
Mrs. Durrance passed away on January 11, 2010 at Thomasville, Ga. Born, July 28, 1935, in Shamrock, Fl., she was the daughter of the late A.P. Brownlee and Florence Mathis Lanier Simmons. On Aug. 5, 1955, in Bronson, Fl., she married Coy Louis Durrance, who survives her. Other survivors include children Cindy Sullivan and husband Richard of Apopka, Fl., Karen Lloyd and husband Spence of Ormond Beach, Fl. and Kevin Durrance of San Francisco, Ca.; grandchildren Robert Sullivan, S. K. Lloyd and Wesley Lloyd; brothers and sisters Betty Owen, Buddy Lanier, Connie Barlow, Jimmy Lanier, Johnny Lanier, Judy Langford, Ronnie Lanier, Carolyn Nichols, Buddy Brownlee, Judy Bowers, and Ricky Brownlee.
