Services for Paul A. Hewell of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at First Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Howard Floyd, Blake Brookerd, Taylor Knapp, Jimmy Franklin, Milton Callaway and John White. Mr. Hewell died June 11, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 14, 1908 in Dewy Rose, GA he was the son of the late Isaiah and Minnie Brown Hewell. He was married to Audrey Alday Hewell who preceded him in death and then to Bessie Franklin Hewell who preceded him in death. He retired from Horne Hardware and was later a locksmith. Mr. Hewell was a member of First Baptist Church and Golden K Kiwanis. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Mr. & Mrs. Gene Wilson Janet of Thomasville, Mr. & Mrs. Cecil Redfern Sherrill of Greenville, S.C., Mr. & Mrs. Hewell Winn Peggy of Eatonton, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Fleming Floy of Dewy Rose, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Hewell D. Fleming Melether of Elberton, GA, Mrs. Ann Jordan of Chatsworth, GA and a number of stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Henry D. Hewell, Annie H. Fleming, Elizabeth H. Webb, Eva H. Winn and Margaret H. Clarke. Memorials may be made to the Gideons International P.O.
