Paul Barwick

Services for Paul Warren Barwick, 84 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Pastor Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will follow at Barnett's Creek Cemetery. Mr. Barwick passed away February 15, 2022 at The Residence at Oak Grove in Thomasville. Born October 15, 1937 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Albert & Jewel Yarbrough Barwick. On July 31, 1959 he married Martyle Crosby Barwick, who preceded him in death, and they have spent many wonderful years together. In 1959 he went to work at WCTV as an artist, camera man and reporter, before retiring in 1983. He was an avid collector of bottles, antiques and played guitar and piano by ear. He was an avid duck hunter and loved the wildlife. He was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Donna Kay Seay and husband Victor of Boston, Michael Paul Barwick and wife Susan of Thomasville, Chrissie Bryant and husband Carey of Thomasville and Jimmy Barwick and wife Sarah of Coolidge; grandchildren, Natalie Massey and husband Rusty, Dustin Seay and wife Megan, Scott Barwick and wife Susan, Corey Barwick and wife Allison, Jessica Trujillo and husband Uriel, Hayley Hill and husband Chris, Courtney Griffin, Kaitlyn Bryant, Kylie Bryant, Ashton Barwick, Meghan Barwick and Carson Barwick; grandson-in-law, Josh Griffin; 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brother, Fred Barwick. The family will receive friends 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the funeral home.
