Paul Julian Smith, Sr.

Graveside services for Paul Julian Smith, Sr., 86, of Boston, will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00AM at Boston Cemetery and the Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate the service. Mr. Smith passed away on July 24, 2012 at Thomasville Nursing & Rehab Center. Born January 31, 1926 in Sylvester, Ga, he was the son of the late Hardy Francis Smith, Sr. and Bernice Patterson Smith. Mr. Smith was married to Geneva Lipham Smith, who survives. Other survivors include sons Paul J., Jr. and Pam Smith, Henry Titus Smith, Mark Brent Smith, daughter Ginger S. Bird, sisters Vivian S. Hatcher, Kathryn S. Boyles, brothers James I. Smith and Robert H. Smith, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Merita A. Rigor and brothers Hardy Francis Smith, Jr., Alan Smith. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home.
