Services for Paul Rayford Ray Smith of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Dr. Henry Gainey of Calvary Chapel and Rev. Betty Lou Miller of Dawson St. United Methodist Church will officiate. A private family internment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Smith died December 21, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 11, 1935 in Pavo, GA he was the son of the late Edgar Smith and Floy Bell Bradley Smith Turq. He was married to Emily Elizabeth Burgess Smith who survives. Mr. Smith served in the National Guard and was a member of Dawson St. United Methodist Church and Calvary Chapel Church. He was an Off Campus Coordinator for Thomas Tech and later operated PRS Productions. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Smith Farley and Steve of Eufaula, AL, son and daughter-in-law, Paul Robert Smith and Catherine of Thomasville, GA, grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Giglio, Brian Farley, Kristyn Smith Foulk, Paul Robert Smith, Jr., Maggie Williams and Carolyn Williams, great grandchildren, Haleigh Giglio, Adrienne Giglio, Brianne Farley, Kristen Farley, Gracie Marie Smith and sister, Paulett Turq Bovington. Memorials may be made to Calvary Chapel Mission Project, 100 Commerce Park Drive, Thomasville, Ga 31757. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
