Pauline Welch Dixon

Services for Pauline Welch Dixon, 76, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Kennedy Chapel. Rev. James Sellers will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dixon died July 29, 2009 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born, December 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late L.D. and Katie Lou Johnson Welch. On April 3, 1948, in Quitman, she married Jack Junior Dixon, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1989. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Betty Faye and Dozier Brock of Miccosukee, Fla.; son, James C. Dixon of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy R. and Gerri Dixon of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Roger D. and Sharon Dixon of Thomasville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, J.C. Welch of Fargo; sister, Hazel Manning of Pavo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Friday. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
