Graveside services for Pearl Elizabeth Metts, 106, of Pavo are 11:00 Am, Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Harris will officiate. Ms. Metts died September 3, 2008 at her residence. Born November 17, 1901 in Dublin, Ga, she was the daughter of the late Washington Johnson and Merica Dennison Johnson. She was married to Daniel Metts, who preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors include nieces, Pat Lewis of Pavo, and Maxie Skipper of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by niece Jewell Bennett, nephew, Elton Roberts, sisters, Nadia Lee Roberts, Eunice Miles and brothers, Eskel Johnson and Olon Johnson.
