Peggy Kathleen Joiner

Peggy Kathleen Joiner "Memaw" gained her angel wings on November 27, 2022
surrounded by her loved ones. Kathleen was born July 6th 1935 in Cairo GA , she was 87
years old.
Kathleen's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be
touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts
exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here. Kathleen was a Christian and always
put her family and the needs others first. The best way to describe her is "To know her is
to love her". Kathleen never met a stranger and always welcomed everyone with a smile
and warm hug. Not a day went by that she did not have an impact on someone's life. Her
family was her greatest achievement in life and she loved telling everyone about them.
Kathleen was Married to the late John W. Joiner. She is survived by children, Glynda
Tonkin, Elaine Joiner, Ronny Joiner and Kim Fournier (Fred). Grandchildren Robby
Crawford (Lisa), Robin Hatcher (Robert), Jason Johnson (Tina), Amy Peeples (Jimmy),
Karen Johnson, Steven Joiner, Barry Joiner (Amber), Amanda Joiner, Ronny Joiner Jr,
Josh Joiner (Brandy), Justin Turner (Felicity) and Katie McNiece (Coleman). 21 Great
Grandkids, 7 Great-Great Grandkids and countless other family members/friends.
Kathleen was predeceased by Her husband John W. Joiner, Her Parents John Henry
and Effy Spivey, Her Son Timothy Joiner, Great Grandson John Curtiss Johnson and
several sisters and brothers.
Services will be held at Allen and Allen Funeral Home. Family will be hosting visitation
on Tuesday, November 29th from 5-7pm. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, November
30th at 2pm at The Chapel at Allen and Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Johnson,
Robby Crawford, Josh Joiner, Justin Turner, Mark Jackson and Bobby Bufford.
