We regretfully announce the passing of Jon Seago, 67, of Pavo, Georgia. Jon passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 4.
Jon was born to William and Jacqueline Seago on January 24, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida. An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Jon was attracted to electronics from an early age, fascinated by gadgets and electric circuits, and always looking to solve anything he wondered about. Jon graduated from high school and immediately began his career as a skilled electrician.
In 2014, Jon met his wife Fiona at the Scottish Highland Games. Jon and Fiona spent their days at the beach, estate sales, and antiquing and were deeply devoted to each other.
Jon is survived by his siblings Marianne, Bill, and Alan Seago and predeceased by William and Jacqueline Seago.
Please join us for a visitation honoring Jon Seago’s life on Thursday, March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m., to be held in the main building of Allen & Allen funeral home located at 110 W. Hansell St. in Thomasville, Georgia. Friends and family are asked to wear Hawaiian shirts if they’ve got one – the brighter the better – as a tribute to Jon’s vibrant personality and quirky style.
While we would love to hold a memorial service in Jon’s name, he specifically requested no services take place. If you’d like to honor his legacy, please make a donation to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Jon’s name:
