Phillip James Godwin

Private graveside services for Phillip James Godwin of Moultrie were held Monday, January 26, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Godwin died Saturday January 24, 2015 at his residence. Born on March 10, 1951 in Cairo, Ga., he was the son of Billy F. Godwin and the late Dorothy Jordan Godwin. Mr. Godwin was an Army veteran and a retired construction contractor. He is survived by his father Billy F. Godwin; wife Tama Ruth Faison Godwin of Moultrie; daughter Jennifer Godwin Williams of Gainesville, Ga; son Jonathan Godwin of Atlanta; step-daughters Kendra Sloan and Joni Parker both of Moultrie; sisters Phyllis Hiers and Helen Murray both of Pavo; four grandchildren.
