Phronie M. Carter

Graveside service for Phronie Ott Carter, 95, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2021 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church officiated by Mike Hanscom. Visitation will be open from 1 – 6 p.m. at Allen & Allen on Thursday, August 12th. Our precious mother went to be with her loving Saviour on Wednesday morning, August 11th. Married to Hollis Carter for 72 years. Together they have 5 children, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was a dedicated and devoted mother and wife. After raising her children, she worked at Ponders for many years. For 70 years she was an active member of East Side Baptist Church of Thomasville serving the Lord faithfully, teaching and interpreting for the deaf. For the past 25 years she enjoyed singing with the Christian Friends, sharing the love of Jesus through music. Her rewards in heaven will be many because of her testimony and willingness to share the gospel of Christ.
Predeceased by husband, Hollis Carter. Survived by five children: Larry Carter (Cindy); Martha Miller (Glenn); Russell Carter; Robin Roberson (Scott); Cory Carter (Constance).
Grandchildren: Shelby Lawrence (Becky) of Cotton; Jeremy Carter (Elisa) of Thomasville; Jennifer Vincent (Kent) of Pavo; Sydney Timmons (Caleb) of Boston; Miranda Roberson of Thomasville; Hollie Harper (Cole) Douglas; Lauren Carter of Atlanta; Cole Carter (Miranda) of Waycross; Shelbie Carter of Douglas; Ryan Carter of Douglas; Jayla Brown of Statesboro.
