Phyllis Dees of Thomasville, Ga. passed away on Sunday March 15, 2026 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday March 19, 2026 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Texas Street with Rev. Lee Powell officiating. Phyllis was born in Vermillion, South Dakota to the late Orville Edward Ferry and Evelyn Gilbaugh Sorensen on February 28, 1935. She is survived by her sons Joe Dees (Michelle), and David Lloyd (Kannika). She was preceded in death by her son Mark Lloyd. She also leaves behind grandchildren Sarah Lloyd, Brian Lloyd, Danielle Dees, Lindsey Dees, Costin Lloyd, Connor Lloyd, Andrew Lloyd, and Aerial Connell, and great grandchildren Makenzie Taylor, Hadley Wilson and Grayson Santiago.
