Memorial Service for Phyllis Noe Graham, former Lord & Taylor buyer and decorator; beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 443 Hansell Street, Thomasville, Georgia at 11am on July, 16, 2010.
Mrs. Graham died of natural causes, on June 29, 2010 in Quitman, Georgia. Mrs. Graham, born in Cleveland, Ohio August 7, 1914 was the daughter of the late James Noe and Mel Louise McKay Noe. She was married 1936, to William J. Graham, who died in 1986. Mrs. Graham was a resident of Thomasville, Georgia for over 20 years; having previously lived in Scarsdale, New York, San Marino, California, and Vero Beach, Florida respectively. She was a parishioner and longtime Altar Guild member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Thomasville. Mrs. Graham was an avid reader of books and especially loved reading The New York Times each week. Mrs. Graham was a devoted writer; never failing to acknowledge a birthday, christening, anniversary, or other occasion by sending a loving note. Mrs. Graham traveled all over the world; and particularly enjoyed spending summers with her husband in Stowe, Vermont. Known as Mum Mum to those who loved and knew her best; she will be greatly missed by her daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include daughter Phyllis Powers; grandchildren, John Powers, Chris Powers, Mary Powers Riddle, and Kerry Powers Zarkin; Great Grandchildren, Joshua, Madison, and Caroline Powers, Lilly, Nolan, and Ned Riddle.
