Phyllis Earlene Pearce

September 21, 1946 — December 1, 2022

Phyllis E. Pearce was born on September 21, 1946 and walked into the arms of Jesus on December 1, 2022. A graveside service will take place on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at El Bethel Baptist Church in Whigham, Georgia.
Phyllis was born to the late Earl Bone and Viola Farrow Sellers. Baby brother, Edsel, joined the family a few years later and they were raised on the farm in Reno, Georgia. Phyllis attended the Reno Community School and graduated from Cairo High School. After graduation, she completed business school in Valdosta, Georgia.
On March 26, 1976, Phyllis married her best friend, Marcus. Together they raised their four children: Tyler, Sandra, Mark, and Jennifer. Phyllis and Marcus were married for almost 40 years when he passed away in July 2015. There is no doubt Marcus was waiting on her in Heaven, eager to show her the garden and all the projects he had worked on.
Survivors include children, Tyler French, Sandra Roberts (Matt), Mark Pearce (Wendy), and Jennifer Stewart (Marty); grandchildren Lauren (Alberto), Peyton, Jacob, Kenleigh Grace, Cannon, Aspen, Megan, Libby, Lanie, and Koral; brother and sister-in-law Edsel and Ann Bone; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Pearce, Lois Pearce, and Sue Pearce; Aunt Lounette Farrow Barlow, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews who were all so special to her.
There will be no formal visitation, however, anyone who would like to pay their respects may visit Allen and Allen Funeral Home on Sunday, December 4, 2022, anytime between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
