Portia Darlene Brown

Graveside service for Portia Brown will be at 2pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Fredonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Judson Maxwell officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Portia Darlene Brown, age 67, passed away at her home. She was born on September 6, 1954, in Grandview, Texas, a daughter to the late William Beddingfield and Sonya Carver. Portia married Farris D. Brown in July of 1974 in Titusville. Farris preceded her in death in 2003. Portia is a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. She loved her dogs and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her sister Sonya E. Sarver (John P. Sarver Jr.) of Thomasville; niece Angela Petty (Robert) of Thomasville; nephews Brian Sarver (Crystal) of Thomasville, and John Paul Sarver III; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
