Randy Nettles

Randy Nettles, 67, died suddenly at his home in Morven, Ga on February 25, 2023 from complications of kidney disease. He was born in Guymon, OK and grew up and graduated in Atkinson County, Ga. He attended South Georgia College, then VSC, where he met his wife. Independent and nonconforming, he had a series of businesses including Nettles Construction. He loved driving fast, telling jokes, and going places with his family. Randy is survived by his mother, Yvonne Maddox; wife, Kay Faircloth Nettles; children, Stephen (Lauren) of Pennsylvania; William(Maria) of Woodstock, Ga; Rebecca (Chad) Beaty of Pavo, Ga; and several grandchildren. Randy's wishes were to be cremated with no formal service. Friends and family are invited for food and reminiscing Friday, March 3, 2023 from 2-6 pm at Morven City Hall's Heritage Room,178 2nd Street, Morven GA 31638.
