Raney Leo Carter

Funeral services for Raney Leo Carter of Coolidge will be held Saturday, July 20, 2002 at the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel at 11:00AM. The Rev. Vernon Fletcher will officiate and interment will be in Whipowill Cemetery. Mr. Carter died Thursday, July 18, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late James Martin Carter and Annie Lucille Chastain. Mr. Carter was born November 11, 1946 and was a farmer. Survivors include a sister, Shirley Carter of Ochlocknee; brother, Willie Carter of Thomasville; a brother, Herbert Carter of Coolidge; a sister, Pauline Dowdy of Texas; and a sister, Deborah Bently of Coolidge. He was was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John Carter, Gene Carter and Chalres Carter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM Friday, July 19, 2002.
