Funeral services for Ray Eugene Trey Ulmer, III, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Dade City, Fla. are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2007 at First Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are, Tim Mercer, Phillip Chastain, Phil Chastain, John Chastain, Mark Church, Tommy Dormainey, Mark Fountain and Joel McQuagge. Mr. Ulmer died November 12, 2007, from a hunting accident in Arkansas. Born April 27, 1963, in St. Petersburg, Fla., he is the son of Judge Ray Ulmer, Jr. and Suzanne Chastain Ulmer. He was a Sr. Reliability Coordinator for Southeast Power and he was a member of St. Mary Episcopal Church. Other survivors include mother, Suzanne Chastain Ulmer of Thomasville; father and step-mother, Judge Ray, Jr. and Yvonne Ulmer, sister, Melinda Suzanne Ulmer Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nephew, Jeffery Smith; niece, Haley Suzanne Smith; grandmother, Madge Ulmer of Sarasota, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Lyndell and Tim Mercer of Boston, John Chastain of Ashville, N.C., Phillip Chastain of Thomasville, Steve Chastain of Thomasville and Jerry and Ronnie LaCivita of Sarasota, Fla.; cousins, Lisa Harris of Boston, Chad and Jennifer Brinkley of Cairo, Julie Whitaker of Santa Cruz, Calif., Tracey Chastain of Raleigh, N.C., John Chastain of Clemson, S.C., Michael and Jessica McGuire of Atlanta, Phil Chastain of Thomasville, Melissa Stringer of Thomasville, Kim Seltovic of Sarasota, Fla. and John LaCivita of Sarasota, Fla.; special friends, Tammy Swan of Little Rock, Ark. and George Doss of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Chastain and paternal grand-father, Judge Ray Ulmer, Sr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 ? 7 p.m. on Sunday.
