Memorial services for Ray Eugene Wilson, 78, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at Thomasville First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor and Rev. Kirk Zahniser will officiate. Mr. Wilson died Jan. 27 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born January 26, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lester Howard and Margaret Obedier Wilson. He was married to Lecrecia Richardson Wilson, who survives. He was a retired auto body repairman. Mr. Wilson was a member of Thomasville First United Methodist Church, and he was a longtime member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sarasota, Fla. Other survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Carol Wilson of Enterprise, Fla. and Howard and Stephanie Wilson of Brandon, Miss; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and John Janks of Houston, Tex. and Donita and Jeff Hinckley of Thomasville; grandchildren, Doug Evans, Daniel Evans, David Janks, Kristin Janks, Joshua Hinckley, Jacob Hinckley, Isaac Wilson, Lacy Wilson and Crystal Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Pearly and Barbara Wilson of Sarasota, Fla. He was preceded in death by a son, Rick Wilson; and brother, Dial Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomas County Food Bank, 425 N. Broad St., Thomasville, Ga. 31792.
