Graveside services for Raymond L. Baker of Thomasville are at 2:00Pm on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Calvin Kinard, Wendall Brown, Thomas Speigner, Levale Speigner, Erik Speigner and Bert Browning. Mr. Baker died October 28, at his residence. Born September 27, 1936 in Norman Park, GA., he was the son of the late Albert Lee Baker and Thelma West Baker who survives. He was married to Kathron Johnson Baker who survives. Mr. Baker was in the United States Navy for 13 ½ years and was retired from Cone Machinery. Other survivors include stepson and wife, Jimmy and Bettysue Speigner of Thomasville; stepdaughter, Sharon Browning of Carrabelle, Fl., stepdaughter and husband, Lynn and Todd Fulgham and stepdaughter, Dale Wright all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Thomas, Levale and Erik Speigner, Bert Browning, Mandy and Tony Fletcher, Sandy Draper, Lainie and Christie Fulgham and great grandchild, Jessica Browning; sisters, Dorothy Logan and Jean Funderburk and brother, Bobby Baker all of Norman Park, GA.
